2012′s Rockstar Mayhem Festival will be headlined by none other than the legendary Slipknot who will be supported on the main stage by Slayer and a rotating slot featuring As I Lay Dying, Asking Alexandria and The Devil Wears Prada. The second stage will feature Anthrax, As I lay Dying, Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, High on Fire and the Jagermeister opener. A “Special Guest” for the tour will be announced on March 5th, which we’ll post up as soon as we find out.
In other Slipknot related news, Shawn“Clown” Crahan will make his acting debut in “The Devil’s Carnival”, the new project Darren Lynn Bousman is directing that is being seen as a companion piece of sorts to “Repo! The Genetic Opera”. Click here to read more on this.
